I’ve seen more than one opinion piece postulating that Musk started the whole twitter fiasco as a way of getting some press and upping his stock prices but never planned to actually go through with the actual purchase, and then when he was forced to actually do it set out to basically destroy twitter in a childish fit of pique.

I find this theory plausible. Thoughts?

Not being a twitter twit, my feelings are… “MEH”!

And all this mess, because musk didn’t know when to keep his mouth shut.

If twitter ceased to be tomorrow, what would it matter?

Is it at trumpster fire level, yet?

Hubris has cost Elon his money, businesses, friends, and reputation.

I think one problem is that the previous owners lied to him about the number of bots. It still is a baffler why he followed through on the purchase.

He’s another version of the orange scourge trying to impose his strangeness on the masses.

If I never hear his name or see his face in the media, that would be the desired outcome from my POV.

I joined Twitter before Musk took over, and I don’t see any difference whatsoever. I need to see a comparison chart in order to be convinced that it’s as bad as some people think. As it often happens, I think the media is just fanning the fire in order to get people riled up. So far, in my opinion, it’s “Much ado about nothing.”

The answer is simper, don’t use, read, or pay any attention to Twitter

Hey, Elon is a borderline-psychopath like most rich people. We may call it an “ego” but in reality they are all borderline psycho….except for the ones that are psych all the way.
