My DIL can’t stand to have her food touching when it’s on her plate. When she orders a burger she will disassemble it, removing part of the onions, switching up the placement of the lettuce and tomato, scraping off or adding mayo ketchup and mustard. When she’s done it’s a small victory for here and she savors every bite. Tru story!

If that’s peas, yuck! Their taste and squishy texture will ruin everything else.

When I was a tike, my parents would go to a Chinese restaurant. They always mixed all the served dishes together in their plates. I never understood that.

For this Plugger, it’s a forkful of each item in turn. Only mixing is when the vegetable gets stuck on the side of the pile of mashed potatoes and gravy.

My mother’s father was the opposite. He ate all of one thing at a time and never let foods touch each other. Mom said he preferred eating off of one of those partitioned trays.

Not this one. I eat what I like least, and work my way to what I like most, so the taste can linger.

some people don’t like their food touching. I like some of my foods mixed together in each bite. A bit of potato with the turkey and gravy all in one bite is delicious.
