… And “Mr. Airtight”, Merrick Garland, who’s working so meticulously and slow that the indictments will come after the next successful coup.

Probably not a lot of comments from Trump Disciples for this cartoon.

They all believe that stealing top secret government material to sell it to the Saudis and maybe Russia is exactly what a stable genius would do.

When the indictments against former guy eventually come down, the evidence will be so overwhelming that his supporters will love him even more.

His hope is that his Special Master will find out who it was that tipped off the Feds to begin with. It’s not about personal or privileged papers. He’s got more high security documents hidden about. As it has been suggested…Get out of jail backup plan. Arrest me and my secret army will unleash it all. Just as the Pentagon Papers shook America to it’s core….Trump Papers will result in what Trump loves best. Tear it all down, show it as a tax loss, sell it all off for profit.

Meanwhile, millions of people see him as a God anointed messiah and only through him can America be saved.

Trump could announce on live TV that he is a demon, have his eyes roll back in his head and vomit a swarm of locusts.

Evangelical “Christians” would then gush how wonderful it is to see God’s plan working through this great man and that Nancy Pelosi is actually responsible for the locusts ravaging the countryside.

Once again, this strip isn’t satire, just a straightforward report of what happened.

If Trump isn’t criminally indicted, impeached, and convicted before the midterms, Garland should be fired, indicted, and tried for criminal nonfeasance and malfeasance. And so the hell should Biden.

The one incontrovertible fact is that Traitor Trump was in possession of a large amount of STOLEN PROPERTY. He had the same right to those documents as he has to the contents of my wallet: zilch . Now, it is perfectly true that Traitor Trump is extremely stupid in addition to having a vast array of serious mental illnesses. (It’s been an open question for decades whether Trump belongs in prison next to Al Capone or in the Arkham Asylum next to the Joker.) Even if it were only his fellow criminals and fellow traitors who stole the documents, and Trump knew nothing about it, it doesn’t matter. A crime is a crime is a crime, and Traitor Trump commits them by the truckload.

This cartoon pretty much nails the whole thing. And now we have the impeccable Robert Mueller equivalent Special Master to delay and obfuscate even more. Whoever got Trump to put all the Fed Society recommendations in the judgeships Mitch obligingly left vacant should have gotten a bonus. But knowing Trump, the guy probably got paid bupkis and was fired anyway.

I’m thinking AG Merrick Garland would like this whole thing to just go away. He appears to have no intention of prosecuting Trump, regardless of the evidence. The trouble is, the evidence just keeps mounting and mounting, making the U.S. judicial system look more and more like that of a banana republic. The good news — if you’re black or a minority, the “justice system” works only too well.

I think people around him are nervous; I don’t think he’s bothered by it at all, he’s not smart enough to realize how serious taking these documents is…or! Is he?

Sad but true…the “judicial” posts have been so filled with incompetent political ideologues that they are a joke. Think of the comedy club called SCOTUS.

Actually, I think tRump is hoping to have a stroke that allows him to be in his fantasy world without realizing he is in a prison bed in solitary. The funny sad part is recently he said he wanted fame and he doesn’t understand that infamy is not the same thing.

great ideas Ruben, wish the artwork matched. Doonesbury started with less then stellar art but he improved, while his ideas were great from the start and became fantastic. I hope the best for you.
