I can handle one day of no FA, but I was starting to worry when one day turned into two days. Hope everything is okay. I don’t think we could ever handle an unexplained disappearing act again. At least I can’t. Gotta have FA every day. Please.

We were actually able to make it back to the Day Care / Crafts Workshop without any mishaps. I finished my lanyard while Dr. Buttchin went to clean up the mess he had made while stumbling around all rubbery and invisible. Getting the hang of using super speed wasn’t difficult. It was just a matter of accelerating the heart rate, achieving an excited state. The other half of the process was just as simple. Play dead, and it shuts down so you can function at a normal rate of speed. While I was at it, I sped out to grab a juice box. They keep them secured in the cafeteria, behind a counter, in a big glass-doored cooler. No problem though, when you can stroll in and be gone with one before they are even able to know you were there. I left it on my workbench, with my finished lanyard. I was supposed to meet Dr. Buttchin in the hallway, since I had left to use the restroom nearly twenty minutes ago, and needed to return as though I’d just taken my time in the restroom. Dr. Buttchin wanted to observe the dissipation of the speed effect as the interdimensional quantum tunneling shut down, to see if my effect duration matched his own. If they didn’t match, then there was a residual effect he needed to account for. That worried him a bit. It was actually lucky for him that I had discovered his experiments. I was sort of hyped. I planned on getting on the inside track and using his machine now and then. He owed me.

Well, that’s pretty definitive. Romance? Try it and die!
