Ro-Zan is pretty shocked to hear about the scientists who transformed Glenna into Mysta, so that tells me that the Moon people knew nothing about Drs. Ghote and Sail. We are reminded once again that the ship with the doctors crashed into Jupiter. Combined with the fact that they had already just about run out of food and water and oxygen before that, I’d say that there is no chance of them coming back, which is how it should be.
Glenna was once called Mindy in the original story that she appeared in, as I remember, and there was no explanation given. I suspect that Gould just forgot what she was called. I know that the Wiki says that “Mindy” was a nickname that her father gave her. That could be true, but it’s just speculation.
This just aint right. How did Mysta all of a sudden know that those men had in fact gotten on the ship when it was established that even Diet didn’t know they were on it tho’ I suspect he knew or at least figured they might be. And with all the space tech destroyed how would Diet be going out to do a search ?
If we learn that the ex gov had found it and kept the information to himself I could go along with that. Right now it is just a bolt out of The Black that we have this long awaited information/resolution.

OFF TOPIC: Finally finished the new book, OTHERWORLD, at 124,999+ words and have rolled the remainder into a second volume. Waiting for the final cover art figures so I can work up a cover.
BTW: In the novel 2010: Odyssey Two, Arthur C. Clarke speculated that because of temperatures and pressures built up over millions of years as heavier elements – like carbon – fell from the cloud bands, the solid core of Jupiter is a diamond as large as the Earth.
Unless that arm is orbiting Jupiter, we’ve got an error. Anything solid crashing on Jupiter would be crushed into atoms as it would be so far down below the cloud cover that the weight of the atmosphere above it would obliterate it.
It seems to me that Mysta C is a much nicer person than Glenna was so this change is for better. Her transformation was pretty unusual for sure, but it turned out to be a good thing

A Posie Ermine flashback! The last we heard of him, he was reported to be dead off-panel (by a person unknown) after a short but memorable team-up with the man then known as The Moon Governor! :)
Curtis took the 1968 Posie story,which I considered to be a VERY minor piece of Tracy history,and made it “must reading” for anybody who wants to know what’s going on.
Only major character unaccounted for —-Habe Corpussle;one ofthe sleazier of the dozens of sleazy lawyers Gould created.
I always thought that Jupiter is a liquid planet; no land mass, all “ocean,” such as it is in that part of the solar system. Okay, so it’s a “gas giant.” Hoo boy!
Panel 1 is a striking study by Shelley in the variant personas (l. to r.) of Moon Maid (the original); Mysta Chimera (the current embodiment); and Glenna “Mindy” Ermine (just raw material for your favorite Mad Scientists, whether they are alive or dead). Ro-Zan seems genuinely puzzled and intrigued in panel 2, though I don’t think that necessarily points to change of heart regarding the cabal (If he falls for Mysta that will be for him a complication rather than a game-changer, IMO). In panel 3 we again see that highly questionable “evidence” for an ostensible never-located coupe crash.
Though little is actually happening, the story is interesting….
