High gas prices are, for many, an inconvenience (and more, for others). The January 6, 2021 Capitol riots were an existential threat to American democracy. Lisa Benson doesn’t seem to understand the difference, or doesn’t care.

The Disciples greatly admire Their Messiah for all his actions on 1/6, especially his attempt to invade the Capitol with an armed mob — a violent attempt to overthrow the government of the United States.

It is not just Trump that is the problem, it is the millions of His Disciples who believe he should have succeeded in his effort.

The most outrage I’ve heard about the hearings is that it preempted General Hospital!

When your party positively hopes that Americans care more about their cars than about their country, maybe it’s time to switch parties.

Say, Lisa, since this is a “Christian” country, why don’t they all get together and pray for lower prices? It must work, for the Bible says ‘ask, and ye shall receive’, Can’t get any plainer than that.

Lets see, high gas prices verses an attempt to overthrow the government. Hmmm

Gas prices are slowly falling. But Ms. Benson just can’t let go.

I watch all those “outraged” people whiz by in their 15-mile-per-gallon SUVs and trucks at 85 mph.

Of course, Lisa ignores the fact that gas prices have started to come down the last couple of weeks.

Jan 6 is not a “hearing”. In a hearing, you follow rules of evidence and cross-examine witnesses. In a “circus”, you mount a production that’s calculated for political value. “Now in ring three, watch the spectacle of a conservative vice president’s daughter jump through hoops at the command of ringmaster Pelosi!”

How can any sane person downplay January 6th. It was one of the lowest points in the history of American democracy. It will literally be in text books for generations to come.

Lisa needs to take a sabbatical and learn something about economics and US government. Or maybe all she’s cut out for is mindless propaganda.

Must we continually complain about the same item in the economy? Nixon wasn’t blamed for gasoline’s doubling of prices from the beginning of 1973 until he resigned, and it was Nixonomics Phase III that released the inflation of the 1970’s. There was also the October War which only made gasoline worse with the Arab embargo.

Prices are coming down around me. Are fuel prices dropping because of Joe Biden?

The public will vote for fascist traitor lying republicans because gas companies raised prices.

I guess the right really does not have an answer to Jan. 6th so they will claim it’s all a way to distract.

Households, on average, are spending the same proportion of their expenses on gas as they did before the surge in prices. That’s because household incomes have risen, too.

The only lives lost were 2 folks murdered by the Capital Police! One had no weapon was shot by a murdering Capital Police Officer the other was beaten to death by 3 or 4 murdering Capital Police Officers!!!
