Slugs are disgusting and they seem to eat my favorite plants.

I remember one family vacation many years ago where every one of us kids got injured in some way. The least dramatic was a bee sting. They also included stepping on a cactus (in canvas sneakers), splitting forehead open in a fall, and getting an arm stuck in an electric ringer washer. Remember, we were all young kids. Ah… summer memories.

Whoa! This one brought back plenty of childhood memories.

And the epi-pen is way beyond its expiration date!

I’d expect that from Holly, not Alix

Kids swim lessons, I stepped on a bee. I ended up at the hospital with my foot and leg swollen to the same diameter as my thigh. The pain (and itch) was excruciating! A few shots and few hours in the ER and sent home to put ice packs on it. I was told I don’t need the epi-pen.

Some little girl seems to be turning into her sister!

Here on the big island of Hawaii slugs and snails are part of transmitting rat lungworm disease to humans.

Misery is walking barefoot through a grassy meadow in the summer and finding out it’s a cow pasture the hard way.

Been playing that song ever since the solstice.

Bummer! I like Alix, she is a great kid, hate to see her experiencing misfortune.

Good thing it wasn’t a rusty nail.
