    There’s actually a few herbs that affect cats MORE than catnip. Cat Thyme for example (Teucrium maru) drives my cat into WAY more of a frenzy than the catnip or catmint (both of these two are the same genus but different species) does.

    There is also supposed to be something called Japanese Drunken Cat Vine, which is supposed to leave cats SO disoriented that, if they are chasing a mouse and it ducks into a hole they will miss the hole and slam into the wall. That I DON’T let my cat have. I’m OK with kitty marijuana, but that’s basically kitty PSP (which, coincidentally was originally designed as a sedative for large cats.)
