Of course Gladys apparently doesn’t realize poor Brutus has no control over the speed to fill the tank.

My brothers ’57 Chevy Bel Aire has the gas filler behind the left tail light.. Looking at the rear end of the car they both look identical. You have to turn the upper chrome latch on the left tail light to open the gas filler. When he pulls into the service station, nobody knows where to fill it until he tells them how to do it.

June 6. 78th anniversary of D-Day. Thank you all for your service. Now and forever. Salute. God bless. My dad was there. He said it was beyond belief. Now a dictator has us on the brink of Nuclear war. How did the world ever allow that?

I try not to fret over it. If I need gas, I get it in my car. I am luckily a low mileage driver, though. When I was working, this would have really been a big issue for me as I had to daily drive all over the county and occasionally into nearby counties. I average 120 miles daily over 7 days a week.

That should be illegal!!! Our gas is usually quite a bit lower than the national average, around 30 cents or so.

I actually had the happen in Tennessee. The gas went up 10 cents after my card was approved. And for those who might ask, this was not a credit card surcharge.

Comparing EV vs gas vehicle fuel costs is very complex. The folks at Kelly Blue Book using what they consider reasonable averages say that an EV fuel cost is $55 per month compared to $167 for gas for the same car types.
