Is Bucky experiencing a tender moment?
For one moment, Satchel’s cluelessness became irresistibly charming to Bucky.
What’s the deal with Grape-Nuts? I open the box, no grapes, no nuts, what’s the story?- Jerry Seinfeld
I love Grape-Nuts. They taste better soggy.
Soul mates at last. The impossibilities are infinite.
Nice, I guess!
Bucky attempting the Heimlich maneuver …
Just split the difference and call it bug nutz.
What the….hug?
Awww.
I used to love Grape-Nuts, but now they hurt the roof of my mouth. So sad.
The one and only time that cat has ever shown any affection of any sort. Enjoy the moment, Satchel.
aww bucky, getting sentimental?
That’s how powerful commercials are: when I was growing up, and Grape-Nuts were new, the commercials (Euell Gibbons, anyone?) made them look tasty. Then I finally got some…ugh, no. At least I learned early on not to trust commercials.
sure its not a rat-poop ?
Don’t ever change, Satchel. (Although you might want to switch to corn flakes.)
Heimlich or hug?
Why isn’t anyone noticing that Bucky gave Satchel a hug! Isn’t that absolutely out of character? Is Bucky sick?
I have managed to live 76 years, having never tasted a grape-nut.
I LOL’d from that first panel, and I’m still LOLIng!
Sooooo, Bucky is exhibiting compassion? For a grape nut? Any guesses where this is going?
Look at that sweet expression on Bucky’s face in the 2nd panel- those big bay blues! Rare day indeed.
Harris Teeter in the SE, Kroger in the Midwest, and Fred Meyer in the NW – all 3 of these carry them. Some store may not have an SKU for them though.
Probably the nicest thing Bucky has ever done or ever will do.
