Would you like a glass of wine to go with it?…..

These days, it seems as though everything comes with one to two strips of bacon.

Mmm, bacon

I’ll skip the bacon. Instead I’ll have something a little healthier.

I’ll take some salmon baked on a bed of lemongrass, basil, and sage, with parsley and sliced-lemon in and on top of the salmon. With the fish I’ll have some baked sweet potatoes and green beans. A nice White German Wine to drink. And for dessert, I’ll go with a fresh baked apple pie with vanilla ice cream.

I often say that bacon is my favorite vegetable.

I’ll just have the potatoes and the cake!

I think we’re getting a glimpse of the reason for his waistline problems!

He lost me at “artichoke.”

Chocolate is my favorite vegetable..made from beans, you know.

Chocolate horseradish sundae with bacon and kale topping.

I’ll have the bacn-wrapped bacon.

Shoe must pay Cosmo a pretty good salary if he can afford a dinner like that.

Money won’t buy you happiness, but it will buy you bacon, which is pretty darn close.

Used to like bacon, but as I reached a certain age it just does not thrill as much as everyone else seems to find it.

Also potatoes seem to be required to accompany most entrées on menus these days. Sure they are cheap and fill up space on the plate served, but there are healthier alternatives.
