That’s a REALLY slow pump!

(gas prices have been dropping. A little. Around here)

If you live near a refinery that has an accidental explosion, your gas prices will increase before all the debris lands.

Biden wants to increase the ethanol content to 15% A really bad idea, as it takes about a gallon of oil to plant, cultivate, harvest, process and transport the stuff. The whole thing started out political, as the big agribusiness companies wanted it, and paid off some politicians. Remember when they said corn was just temporary, they would switch to grass? One lie after another.

Prices are going down here….

There’s a guy with a ‘tall jack’ at the tank.

This is a joke right out of the 1970s. I remember a comedian talking about how when he complained about the price difference between what the pump said, and the price the clerk wanted him to pay, the clerk responded: “The price went up while you were pumping.” To me this feels just like the 1970s except the cause is different, then it was the oil embargo by OPEC.

Been dropping here.

I just hate when that happens. In Alberta our grand and glorious leader Jason Kenney gave us all a break by (temporarily) removing a 13 cent tax.. mind the gas companies only lowered the price by 10 cents.. cuz we are metric I guess.

Well, the price is locked in once you select the grade.

Gas prices in Philly dropped $.20/gallon the past 2 weeks.

Meanwhile oil companies are raking in record profits. It’s called opportunistic price-gouging.

Also, one may notice that price per gallon often jumps significantly sometime between Monday to Wednesday, and creep back down a little some time around Saturday afternoon. Sometimes by as much as $0,20 either way. This happens at most of the stations in a given area regardless of brands/ownership.

But if you want to misplace the blame on the president, i guess it’s your right to be wrong.

I paid a $3,47 yesterday in Texas, down from $3.97 ten days ago,

It’s all Biden’s fault when prices go up but when they drop the GQP switches back to Hunter Biden’s laptop.

$1.79/gallon here! Oh wait, that was when Trump was president.

Going back to the 1990s I lived in northern Michigan where on Fridays every gas station within 50 miles raised their prices, then on Monday lowered them. Every week

I think sometimes oil execs just have a dartboard with prices on it, and if the dart hits a number not too far from other oil company prices, that’s what they raise it to

Another reason to go EV. Electric prices don’t fluctuate nearly that much.

But, you’re still alive and have a safe home to go to.

I paid almost a dollar less last week than the week before. Gas memberships can be of help!
