Wasn’t there a song called “And The Grass Won’t Pay No Mind?”

Lucy, quit hosing around and water the lawn.

I remember old nursery rhyme, And the green grass grew all round.

It’s going to take more water than that to allow all those yellow spots from Snoopy to disappear ..

Using a garden hose to water flowers or grass or a garden, Lucy?

Grass is notoriously stupid.

Unless they actually look at the other parts of the lawn that aren’t being rained upon.

The hardware stores all full, this time of year, with every conceivable type of hose nozzle you can imagine, and they all clog/stick/break in a season or less. Yet, the old school brass twist-to-open ones like Lucy is using last forever. Progress…

Tell it to grow more slowly this year. I don’t want to cut it as often.

It’s April. “April showers bring May flowers” The grass doesn’t need watering…especially when you are on a town water meter.
