Well, at least the mirror didn’t crack, just like Herman Munster’s mirror when he looked at it.

That’s not a very good reflection on him…

He should not be holding a mirror, he should be holding a lasagna.

Lasagna and food must be his second, I thought those were first.

Good for Garfield. I can’t watch myself in the mirror anymore because of my wrinkles and gray hair.

I had a cat who loved her own reflection. Tess would sit on my lap while I put on makeup. I had a special brush (one that came with the blush, but I already had a blush brush) and I would “put makeup on” her as well. What’s funny is that she was a seal-point Siamese, so she already looked like she wore makeup!

Notice that he holds the mirror to his face and not the rest of his body!

Hey, I thought it was Arlene. Guess we shouldn’t be surprised it was himself.

I thought it was Lasagna, with me it´s a pulled pork sandwich.

Garfield has many loves: Food, himself, and his girlfriend Arlene, who is still dating him for some reason.

Seriously? I thought everybody’s first love was their mom?

Emphasis on the word “creature”.

I’m guessing lasagna is a close second love. Pooky and sleeping are right behind.

Calvin also has that attitude as well, except replace “first love” with “self-importance”.

“Garfield” is becoming less of a comic strip and more of a line of cheesy greeting card gags. About the only thing this strip has going for it is Jon and Liz as a couple for the past 16 years. If they would just get married and have kids, this strip might become more fresh and funny.

I am surprised that Garfield doesn’t have statues of himself like Heathcliff.
