Like the guy went to a nursing home to visit a friend, and while there ate some peanuts that were in a dish there. Very unhappily he found out they were peanut M&Ms that his friend had licked the candy off as the peanuts were too hard to chew!
Episode of Eight is Enough, Tom Bradford the father was upset and his daughter Susan who was 20 then brought him a peanut butter and mayo sandwich and he finally admitted to her that he hated those sandwiches but when you are a parent and your 5 year old brings you something to cheer you up that she made out of love, you sit there and eat every bite..
Granma Opal probably let him lick all the bowls. That was my favorite part of “helping” the cook when I was little. He, no doubt, decided that the cupcakes could use a licking, too, after Opal left the kitchen.
LOL! Years ago a good friend made a delicious homemade red velvet cake and she cut me three generous slices to take home. I announced that I licked them all so no one touch, and my brother and sister absolutely grossed out… didnt phase my father though…..

It’s okay. Kid spit isn’t any more toxic than mom-spit.

As always, don’t ask if you cannot handle the answer. (He’s lucky the answer was not “having the dog lick them”.)

I’ve heard a story of an adult walking in on a kid taking the (unlit) candles off a birthday cake, licking off the frosting, and sticking them back in
