Kitties do love the high ground. My cat Princes used to sit on my shoulder when we went for walks.

We had a cat that would hide on top of our full-sized van. I was usually alerted by honking and gesticulating drivers.

I’m waiting to see if there is a claw-snag in the knit hat that she is attached to.

An elevated view can be pretty cool. I once saw the sunset from thirty-some-odd feet in the air. It lasted for hours, and became a sunrise along the way.

I’m on the top of the world lookin’ down on creation

And the only explanation I can find

Is the love that I’ve found ever since you’ve been around

Your love’s put me at the top of the world

The Cat ON the Hat

A new point can be fascinating. I watched a video of a very detailed model train layout with a high quality camera mounted inside the locomotive cab. I could have watched for hours! There was also a split screen with multiple camera locations along the track to watch the locomotive pass.

I recently bought a cat tree; on the box they printed “Makes it easier for your cats to look down on you.”

You’d think that Rose and her living head warmer would be getting some odd looks.
