My boss bought one of those for our office. The thing was a pain in my butt. It was too loud so I could only run it after hours; I had to move all chairs and smaller objects off the floor before starting it, and even then it didn’t get into corners or even pick up all of the stuff on the carpet. I finally asked my boss for a REAL vacuum. I don’t mind having to run it because it actually DOES the job.

Lighten up, Wanda, at least he thought of you and the work you do around the house.. Definitely not sexy but thoughtful.

You know, it’s interesting to note that they change the names of products, presumably because of concern over copyright laws. Like Rum Bot instead of Roomba. They used to have Pampies instead of Pampers. It seems to me that the manufacturers would like the free advertising, not threaten to sue over it.

I told the Mrs it was a gift for the cats seeing how they all wanted to ride it. Decreasing the time we would have to perform any vacuuming chores was just an added bonus.

Why do guys think getting us appliances, gadgets, or cleaning supplies is “romantic”? News flash…to most of us it isn’t! If you wanna get us those things, don’t do it on Valentine’s, our b-day, or Christmas…unless we specifically ask you for something like that.
