I’m perfectly certain that Mitch the ?itch will do everything in his power to prevent or extend hearings on the nomination until she gets disgusted and leaves. As long as S&M are on board, though, I think his power is limited until the “go run for office” break this summer. So it behooves everyone to move quickly… and get M&S’s buy in, in writing on the candidate.
Just prior to introducing the GOP appointee, Mitch will “pause” the filibuster rule to get his appointment through, then, promptly, restart the filibuster rule to prevent any Dem hijinks.
May McConnell each waking day suffer from the scorn and disgrace the nation will offer him for the rest of his life, and throughout the nation’s history. How can so vile a bile-brewing man remain alive?I wish upon him unending intestinal diarrhea to fill his pants the way he provides unending verbal diarrhea filling my ears; such a hypocritical, arrogant, bigoted blemish on humanity.
I truly hope that McConnell dies a thousand deaths while contemplating Biden’s choice for the next Supreme Court justice. The man must be chronically constipated with his years of blockage of Democrat legislation and judicial nominations—all which will be his enduring sad legacy. The fact that Biden is also setting new records with his diverse group of 40 federal judges having been confirmed in his first year is the cherry on top. Enjoy your medicine Mitch! There is no one who deserves this more than you.
I’d be surprised the Repubs don’t say Biden can’t try to fill the SCOTUS seat since there’s too little time between now and the midterm elections. Although, for them, it only takes sixty days.
With the Senate’s political control balanced on a 50-50 pinpoint, one heart attack or traffic accident on either side of the aisle can have dramatically magnified consequences. And I wouldn’t be at all surprised if that very thot hasn’t occurred to Mr. Mitch, who may have contacts in the Mafia as well as Moscow.

What Moscow Mitch means is that only the GQP can pick Supreme Court justices, no matter what the circumstances.

Don’t give McTurtle any ideas, Mr. Luckovich. But it’s too late, he’s kicking himself for not thinking of this when the Repubs controlled the Senate.

Should the Supreme Court judge the law or make the law?

McConnell takes advantage of the fact the Democrats have’t realized McConnell isn’t in power any longer.

Unlike BS, stupid can’t be shoveled into a pile. Like BS, it can, however, be used to grow stuff. Just not stuff that’s palatable.

MM: Democrats can only nominate SCJ on February 29, during Congressional breaks, on leap years starting in 2052. See. I want to be fair to both sides.
