Manchin the beautiful clean coal polluter, insanely greedy, cares less about the earth.

His daughter increased the price of the Epipen by 600%, the dinos care more about money than human life.

He is a waste for the 290,000 West Virginians who voted for him. That is one of the neediest states in the country with record poverty, poor health, crumbling infrastructure, schools, and toxic landscape.

so mankind will not make progress on the most important issue in the history of mankind because one person wants to preserve some low skill jobs in a backwards state, give all his miners a million dollars and get this jerks vote to save the planet

The press needs to hammer him on the five million he took from the coal industry, the industry that only employs three percent of West Virginia’s population today… He’s as corrupt as the people he’s protecting, the rich.

Manchin is said to be about to leave the party.

Not that he’s much of a party guy now.

How much revenue does the state of West Virginia receive due to coal mining? Do they even have a severance tax? What foreign interests own and control the mines of WV? How much of the wealth generated by coal mining returns to the miners themselves?

Manchin is talking about moving to the Republicans. I am sure that the Republicans like him where he is now.

Ironically, there is no such thing as “Big Coal.” The coal industry is dying rapidly. Good riddance.

Manchin claims to be looking out for West Virginia’s coal industry, in which both he and his son are major investors. The rest of the planet be damned!

Future generations will marvel at our society’s suicidal attachment to the politics of coal… if there are future generations.

We know why he is that way. Coal is the industry in West Virginia. It will be phased out. He’s just fighting that change. Now if only he would help bring a replacement industry to West Virginia. That is a tall bill. I am sure it won’t line his pockets as well as fighting for coal.

If only coal could be turned into something that helps make car batteries.

Manchin is not doing the coal miners any favors; environmental concerns is moving the market place rapidly away from coal as an energy source; and just like the invention of the refrigerator closed ice houses-global warming will close coal mines. Miners need to retrain and retool. This is what Manchin should include in the infrastructure bill.
