It’s a Mad Mad Mad Mad world out there now. And at least partly, I blame social media (and the internet generally)… and Cable TV (along with the demise of the fairness doctrine): It used to be A LOT MORE WORK to get bad data, so a lot of the folks who are gullible just didn’t.

Of course there’s also whatever has increased the murder rate by 30+%. Whatever that mechanism, it probably also affects folks who aren’t trembling on the edge of killing somebody, but ARE trembling on the edge of spewing disinformation or/and hate.

GAD!! You mean those signs aren’t true? I’m shocked, I tell you!! Shocked!! Now I’m going to have to go back to watching the soaps, to find the real world.

The biggest loser for humanity is common sense. We used to know how to think/reason things out. Having let the loudest voices do it for us, not questioning motive or how much they benefit from the disinformation we believe, about the only thing we can be sure of now is our own name. I plan to change mine and not tell anyone!

By supporting January 6th, the Republican Party has declared war on democracy.

By not supporting vaccinations and mask mandates, the Republican Party has declared war on humanity.

Sources are reporting that Pelosi and Schumer are working on a bill to fund re-education camps for those who won’t do everything the government tells them.

“Souces are reporting…” “People are saying…” “I read on the internet…”

In other words, “I just pulled this out of my arse.”

Now they are just crazy… but you can usually tell them by their red hats.

I work in a store. Yesterday, a lot of customers seemed to be angry, all wound up, or in a pissy mood. It’s scary sometimes.

Remember when Nancy Reagan said “don’t do pot, your brain will rot.”

Remember when Whoopie replied “(Screw) you! Try being a 12 year old kid and saying ‘no’ to a gang of killers!”

Now all republicans are mentally ill thanks to racist bully Trump.
