Peaches greets him without even looking up. It’s like breaking out of jail is an everyday event. Apparently, he broke out specifically to get his Dick Tracy collection. (He is the foremost collector of Dick Tracy memorabilia, for those who haven’t read his previous story.)

So, wasn’t Tracy supposed to be safeguarding that collection for him? I wonder how someone stole it from Tracy.

So, is Peachy keen his wife, girlfriend, employee… If she is working for him; it looks like some kind of business. Does he dabble in a legitimate enterprise ?

At least he doesn’t collect cartoonists, like another recent Tracy villain.

It was his arch-nemesis, Pinochle the crooked investment advisor! He was quietly humming “Sweet Surrender” to himself the whole time.

Makes perfect sense to me. The thief has to pay!!!

I suppose it’s possible Peaches always wears only one earring to work.

It’s possible.

My first reaction was, "Where did Blackjack get a hold of that zoot suit if he’s just arriving “home” now?" Then I remembered: “This is Tracy Town. Zoot suits never went completely out of style here!”

So perhaps Blackjack will try to steal the Time Drone to track down his collection, running into the thieves from the Apparatus.

“No one will ever think to look for me here!”

It was Mike. He told me he has quite the collection. Keep this under your hat, folks!

So if it wasn’t for his stolen Dick Tracy collection, Blackjack was perfectly fine being locked up……?

1-LEACHES: Hello. May I speak to the gentleman of the house? Oh, this is he? Hold on while I turn on the recorder so I can get you saying “YES” to something…hello? Darn it. Lost another sale. JACKBLACK: LUCY! I’M HOME!

2-LEACHES: How was prison today, hon?

JACKBLACK: Same ol, same ol. More co-ed cell pregnancies means more crying babies. AND THE GUARDS! Brock Archival has ‘em all dressed up as Tin Soldiers now! I tell ya, prison ain’t as pleasant as it used to be…

3-…HEY! What’s for supper? And is it too much to ask to be greeted at the door with a martini after a hard day at prison?

LEACHES: MAYBE YOUR CELLY CAN FIX YOU ONE! MAYBE YOU SHOULD GO BACK AND ASK!

JACKBLACK: About her…how’d you like to have visitation rights to a little bundle of joy in 7 months or so?

LEACHES: Huh? You never thought Rikki was very pleasant to be around before.

JACKBLACK: Yeah, not what I meant…

well, you could seek Mr. Tracy’s help, i hear he’s quite the detective…oh wait…

Peaches should contain her excitement.

I wonder if “Peaches” is actually her name, or is it just an affectionate term used by Blackjack.

So, now we know that Blackjack is not the Ace of Spades…

Let me see if I get this…Blackjack breaks out of prison…and the first order of business for him is to go to a tailor shop? Maybe the suit and hat was stashed somewhere in the bushes.

I see Blackjack wears gloves, does he have a germ phobia?

Dick Tracy collection must be worth a fortune if this was his only motivation on breaking out of prison. What is this collection like? A book of stamps or butterflies?

Any flea markets in Tracy land? His collection might be there….the equivalent of one stop shopping.

Hmm…briefcase must have been in the bushes too along with the hat and suit.

Blackjack can rule out the Apparatus…they don’t want nothing to do with Tracy…what purpose would it serve having reminders around? Keep introducing characters like this and after a while I am bound to forget this story line started with a machine.

Maybe the thief is hiding the collection in a large bank safety deposit box – perfect for Blackjack! “This is a reclamation, and my name is Blackjack.” LOL

Blackjack, out to reclaim what is rightfully his, his renowned “Dick Tracy” collection! Excellent! Go for it, Blackjack!

BTW, you’re looking fine in your authentic “Blackjack” uniform—striped suit, dark shirt, broad-brimmed hat. Too bad Peaches is so engrossed in her phone-scamming that she can contain her excitement (?) at your return home. Maybe she is just affectless? Psycho sicko?

I am of the opinion that this “Blackjack” sub-plot will somehow fold into the main story, which I still believe centers on the Smith Industries Time Drone and Ace of Spades trying to steal it….

If Tracy promised to take care of Blackjack’s Tracy collection, maybe he discovered that it was missing, and was about to call the State Prison yesterday to apologize to Blackjack??

I remember when Sparkle Plenty was at Blackjack’s place,personally autographing his huge Sparkle collection.

I remember Ownley Chylde had a huge Sparkle collection;could Blackjack have stolen it while Ownley was “away?”.
