That works!

It worked for me to quit smoking when they became $5 a pack.

Worse, cacao plants are dying of some plague too. The only solution may be GMO!!! Can’t wait to see how that works out, LOL!! OMG! The weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth when the only chocolate is GMO!!

Many things I used to love have priced themselves out of my life. Luckily, they were all bad for me anyway: candy, cookies, soda, etc.

They cost way more than that for the “gourmet” type.

Whenever I think something is too expensive, I apply the candy bar inflation factor. Much more accurate than the CPI.

And they’re gettin’ smaller.

A lot of people gain weigh after exercising because they reward themselves with ice cream,beer, candy which add more calories than they burn off exercising.

I look at the $1+ price tags in vending machines and remember how my sister and I always made sure we each had a dime when we went to the nursing home, because it had the neatest vending machine.

i use to pay 5 cents for a candy bar…yet we say things are better now
