Why would they release it on purpose, an undirected weapon to upend the world economy from which they have benefited from being a key player the past 30 years? What did or would they gain? The former guy even praised their leader early on for having the problem in hand. His response, to ignore the issue operationally and hand wave it away- whether the bug is natural or not, it’s not a toy for petulant blowhards, and the playbook was left for them but tossed out because the blowhard wanted nothing with Obama’s fingerprints on it. Mass murderer.

At least Biden wants the truth. All Trump did was fall at Xi’s feet telling him how much he trusted his transparency.

    https://www.cnbc.com/2020/01/24/trump-thanks-chinas-xi-jinping-for-handling-of-coronavirus.html

Never forget it was Trump who removed CDC members from key places in China. People that may have recognized and been in a position to have China recognize the virus sooner. Which could have helped contain it in China, resulting in far fewer fatalities and less of an impact on the economy. Covid 19 happened on Trump’s watch. Not enough PPE was all Trump. This did not happen in his first year in office but into his forth.

Get over it, Trump and Republicans are horrible leaders and law makers. if they can’t get something out of it, they want nothing to do with it. It’s time for people to get out of their delusions and vote all the Republican bums out of office.

And there’s never been any proof of the Wuhan Chine lab leak, either. Just another GOP conspiracy theory to distract from the incompetence of their Trump.

Seems to be the only thing Fox Propaganda wants to talk about lately. Biden wants an actual investigation, rather than going off half-cocked (or without any in the GQP’s case).

The Hell with politics and Biden Vs. Trump. Let’s find out If it was the Wuhan lab, was it an accident or on purpose the truth is there someplace. Millions died and suffered and to not do a full scale investigation, and to not hold those responsible for the release of COVID-19 would be a massive miscarriage of justice.

I must have a hyper-convoluted suspicious mind. I doubt the release of the Covid-19 virus is as simple as an accidental or deliberate release by the Wuhan Institute of Virology.I believe a probable scenario involves Putin’s sinister intent to cripple his two greatest PERCEIVED multinational threats: China & the U.S.First, it’s POSSIBLE the Wuhan Institute of Virology ACCIDENTALLY released the Covid-19 virus; it’s PLAUSIBLE (Putin RELIES ON ITS PLAUSIBILITY), but NOT probable.Given Putin’s underhandedness, I suspect he used his 4 top intelligence services (Federal Security; Foreign Intelligence; Federal Protective; & Main Intelligence Directorate) to enable Russia’s State Research Center of Virology & Biotechnology (VECTOR) in Koltsovo, Russia, to identify, isolate, & orchestrate the release of the Covid-19 virus in Wuhan.Putin’s intelligence services were certainly capable of smuggling bats from the Wuhan area into Russia for that purpose. Once the Russian VECTOR lab had enhanced the Covid-19 virus to enable it to jump from bats to humans, the infected bats were returned to the Wuhan area to begin what we all now know as the Covid-19 pandemic. In the meantime, Russia was able to “fast-track” development of its Sputnik V Covid-19 vaccine which is somewhat effective, but not perfect—it’s not perfect because perfection would have prompted questions. Putin, who places little or no value on the lives of ordinary Russians, preferred an imperfect Covid-19 vaccine to uncomfortable questions from international authorities & the possible revelation of the scam.In the meantime, the world wrestles with the pandemic, blaming China, &, with the economic & political chaos that ensued, particularly with the intransigence of the GOP Leadershit which, like Putin, counts continued economic openness as more important than the safety, health, & welfare of Americans. It was/is win-win for Putin, whose despotic regime thrives on the economic and political chaos of his perceived foes.

While you are at it, Mr. Rambo-mirez, how about a toon showing how long it took our pseudo-president Trump to address the situation. Trump is claiming the China owes us reparations, what about the reparations his (so-called) administration owes all of those who got sick and died while he was dodging the issue?

I’m perfectly willing to believe that China had some culpability in the creation and spread of Covid-19. But first you must have some STINKIN’ PROOF!

All these people screaming about how China did this, that, or the other, are no better than clowns like Mike Lindell screaming how they have “proof,” when they have nothing at all.

First you have to consider that perhaps a worker at the lab caught the virus outside and brought it into the lab. If Trump had not pulled the China watchers out to save money we might know the truth. Now the republicans want China to pay reparations for the mistakes Trump made in ignoring lying and denying and spreading the virus all over the country when he actually knew better.

We had to have the dumbest president on earth when the most deadly virus of my life time broke out. Anti public health science Republicans are totally responsible for the majority of covid deaths in this country.

I left my dogs home alone for almost 16 hours while I worked at the polls for the Democratic Party Primary in the Virginia Gubernatorial Election today, and was worried my house would look like that… Thank goodness only two puppy pads were used! They did a good job! I still haven’t found the kibble puzzle balls I left out for them.

We will never know if China developed the covid virus accidentally or on purpose, because they are never going to give us enough information to make that determination. We are never going to know how many Chinese died from it because they aren’t going to tell us. We need to focus on the stuff we did have some control over, like an inept administration that should have done a lot more domestically and internationally to combat it once it did start, and that didn’t shut down the WHO clinic in China that would have caught it early. Making improvements to our response is worth whatever effort we can put into it because it is going to happen again. International travel is so easy even a virus can do it. Diseases that would have been confined to a village 500 years ago will now be pandemics. It isn’t worth the effort to try to get the Chinese to tell us what happened, it’s worth giving them a pass on this time to gain their cooporation in mitigating the damage next time it happens.
