You would believe a cat over your own mom? How dare you question mom? Of course, the world loves dog slobber because everyone loves dogs. Well not everyone, but almost everyone.
For me personally, it is about the amount. For instance, I love getting kisses from our Scottish terrier puppies, but I would be less inclined if an Irish Wolfhound or other giant breed decided to bathe me in slobber. (think Fluffy from the Harry Potter movies).
