With restaurants closed except for take out, the chip stands are all open. In my small town we have two almost right across from each other. One sells deep fried everything and has a long line up the other sells healthy alternatives and has a handful of customers at best.
Unless you are one of the unfortunate people who are sensitive to gluten, I wouldn’t class it with deep fried cholesterol laden foods for health risks.
Regardless of that, I do try to keep more or less healthful eating habits overall, but I don’t actually feel shame when I eat something that is less good for me. Moderation is the goal, but it’s a personal goal, not something for which I’m accountable to others.
