Jef is cryptic as usual: “A World sweeter” suggests Fannie May chocolates. “An investment” brings Fannie Mae to mind (Federal National Mortgage Association (FNMA), commonly known as Fannie Mae). Then there’s Buster Brown’s classic Fannie Mae https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jmt4JBnnOBY, which leads us towards Maggie May https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBlrMtFprKs.
So—I’m new to this and not quite sure—amphibracic trImeter, yes? And catalectic in lines 3, 6, 7, 8 and 9? So Caulfield leaves things just a tish incomplete . .
Very good segue. If the rhyming is most important, he got it, orally, that is. And that’s what most people will hear. The rhyme scheme, while slightly bent is still good, but misspelled, so he loses. He can work out the rhythmic bumps in performance.

As long as Caufield does not pinch Mae’s fanny, he remains on semi-stabile ground.

“And I remember Fannie Mae,
But from where I’m standing now,
Looking at my Fannie may
Remind one of a cow…"
