Ah, yes. Opening day. The annual excuse to skip work and head to the ball park on a day when there’s a chance of flurries in the air.

What kind of fan is he? Where’s his Crackerjacks?

Used to work at the ballparks in D. C. Looked forward to opening day. You knew winter was over?

I went to a baseball game once – in 1948. I don’t want to pay to be bored again.

Baseball is fun. If you don’t have any grass to watch grow.

And Ohh what a Glorious Day it shall BE! Go Dodgers!

I never really cared for baseball. But, I love watching some of the movies based on the game. “Rookie” and “Natural” are my favorites. I also don’t like watching basketball much, but I love watching “Hoosiers”.

Well said my friend. However, you are missing a table holding enticing foods and beverages to imbibe while enjoying this sacred of all sporting days…..

Ha ha Monday is Cleveland’s opening day. Right now we’re getting our April Fool’s snow.

I wonder who Brutus cheers for? My guess is the Indians. Which makes him a rival to my team favorite the Twins. It wouldn’t matter, I’m looking forward to a post COVID trip to any ballpark.

I don’t think Brutus has the imagination to prank you.

My favorite day of the year

I don’t watch pro baseball any more, but I love to watch the Little League World Series. Those kids are playing their hearts out for the love of the game—not for millions of dollars, or for being a spokesperson for some product.
