If Trump had handled COVID responsibly, this wouldn’t be a big issue. If Trump hadn’t closed the border and forced immigrants to pile there, this wouldn’t be as big of a problem.

I guess we will have to wait and see if the states that reopen actually experience another wave. I expect they will, though perhaps not as awful as prior waves because: vaccines (and folks who’ve recovered). And I expect it because that’s what the experts are warning us.

As for the border, the pent-up demand had already started to become evident even before he took office. Yes, it’s very taxing.
