It’s nice to see Bozo keeping up with his traditions in “Yearly Habit”.
Also, I didn’t notice at the time but somewhere between the 13th and 18th of December, 1952, whoever titled these strips (be it Foxo Reardon or someone in the editorial process) moved to using a capital letter for each word. I’m kinda glad they did.
With BOZO, Woenessday becomes wonderfulsday, for BOZO is such wonderful wordless wonders.
Yes of course another big thumbs up, big applause, and three cheers once again for the marvellous master cartoonist FoXo’s magnificent masterpiece, the most pleasant picturesque pantomime, the ever entertaining ever energetic ever excellent evergreen entertainer BOZO!
A great classic comic of great creative calibre, BOZO never fails to bring me great joy and sheer cheer.
But despite BOZO’S splendid qualities and FoXo’s splendid skills, neither is much known or remembered these days.
Spread the word, friends, so that BOZO can spread more joy and cheer to more!
Many years ago a group of us friends all got a cold that made us sneeze very loudly. It sounded kinda like a moose call, so we got the habit of sneezing and then calling, “Heeeeeere, Moosie Moosie!” We still do that….
) TOO NOISY COLD: Bozo’s sneezing is considered too loud by O’ Malley and off he goes.
2) COAL TRUCK CAPTURE: Bozo needs a ride, rather like Fuzzy’s escapades only he messes up left covered in coal nuggets.
3) YEAR IN, YEAR OUT: New Years and Bozo is busy writing on the cell wall to add the new date of 1953. He has spent many a time over the years in that cell, why not keep tradition?

1. Sniffles or not, Bozo shouldn’t make noise in a hospital zone.
2. Not a sweet hitchhiker picking up a coal truck.
3. Bozo’s yearly going to jail for causing a racket. (1953’s misadventures will be coming up!)
