It sure is too late to change species

I seem to vaguely remember the (1978) Disney movie The Cat from Outer Space on TV some years ago (early 1990s or so). It never showed the titular character hacking a hairball, did it?

No they’re the cat people from another planet that had to travel through space to get to earth. I brought up the same argument on Brewster Rockitt

If the cat people from outer space invade the Earth there will be no hope for us.

They’ll be able to HAAAAACK all the computers on Earth easier than accessing a SolarWinds backdoor.

Typical cats, whether they’re from Earth or from another planet. And yeah, in response to TEMPLO S.U.D.‘s comment, I also remember Disney’s “The Cat From Outer Space” because I own the original VHS of it and still do to this day.

Unfortunately the invasion failed because someone showed up with a laser pointer.

And they are easily defeated by shining a giant, red laser into space to lead the mother-ship away from Earth!
