This is totally OT . . . well, not totally, but it is not pertinent to today’s comic. I have been reading your comics from the start (including Comics Sherpa). A month or so ago, I read Jan 2, 2019. Just this morning I was thinking, I remember reading a comic where someone commented that Ina Garten didn’t like cilantro either (but I couldn’t remember which comic it was). Then this morning I was trying to remember where I had left off on your comics and saw that Jan 2, 2019, comic. The light dawned! Just wanted to mention that I HATE CILANTRO!!! Thank you.
I’m old, I admit it. Grew up in the rural South. Back then, a girl learned to cook, sew, clean house, do laundry, and tend the kids, and we started EARLY.
Then again, my mom made sure my brother learned all that, too (not that it took…).
So, just sayin’ – sewing on a button is a 5 minute job, tops. If you haven’t lost the button. If you can find your needle. If you have the right color of thread. If you haven’t lost your thimble – AGAIN.
Trust me, you will need the thimble.
Amanda, your way was faster, probably cheaper, and worked perfectly well. And you didn’t need a huge jar of buttons to find one that matched!
