Now it’s Dick who’s wearing changing color clothes!

And Sam has a “now you see it, now you don’t bowtie!”

Even the wrist radio is getting into the act, changing static bolt colors!

Someone has lost interest in this story and it’s not the readers!

    Good morning™, relevant revelations !

Panel 3 Tracy has his right arm and pointer finger up in a eureka moment. We finally get to see the raccoon in squirrel’s clothing, who has been the scourge of Tracyville’s bird feeders.

Sam has put his bowtie on for the trip to see the trail cam footage. (Surely I will be accused of excusing bad writing LOL!)

    Good morning™, all!

Well, yesterday’s strip was indeed part of this story and not just something irrelevant, but the most interesting news for today is that Pouch “has no address.” I guess that explains why he is living in a motel. He is basically homeless.

Also, Pouch was saying that it was almost noon, the last time we saw him. It is now 11:30, so still not yet noon. It seems that Sam and Tracy do take a fairly early lunch break.

Tracy looks like he’s about to horn some snuff of his wrist and the last panel today! Did he pick it up at the Commune?

    Good morning™, trail-cam cinematographers!

    Imaginary Backstory, Vol. 2

    Subject: Uniformed officer

Paulina Rousseau (“Polly” to friends and family, “Roose” to co-workers) is approaching her 2-year anniversary at police HQ, after six years of service in the U.S. Army as a Battlefield Information Technician. She is an important member of the Critical Infrastructure Protection Unit and is widely regarded as the leading candidate to replace the current Asst. Program Manager who is leaving to accept a position in the FBI. After the past 8 years, if she wins the promotion she is most excited at the possibility of finally being able to wear civilian clothes at her job!

Polly has always been confident and accomplished — traits she directly credits to her great-grandmother, “Mé-Mé” Elain. Elain Donadieu used her knowledge of the streets as a Dijonnaise orphan to smuggle information for the French Resistance in WWII. She emigrated first to Montreal then to Chicago with her husband, Claude Rousseau, the only surviving member of a prominent pre-war banking family. Claude was a senior officer with First Chicago Bank, instrumental in their European expansion during the 1950s and ‘60s.

When Claude passed away in 1993, Elain came to live with her youngest son, Marc, his wife Emily, and their 30-month-old toddler, Paulina. Polly and her Mé-Mé were instantly inseparable. Elain schooled her granddaughter in chess, the concertina, and conversational French while Polly turned her Mé-Mé on to first The Powerpuff Girls and later Ani DiFranco.

Elain died peacefully in her sleep in 2009 while Polly was away for her sophomore year at Carnegie Mellon. Polly considers her military service and police career to be a 21st century continuation of the legacy established by her Mé-Mé in 1940s wartime Dijon.

Dick must have spilt something on his tie and had to change it, Sam forgot to put his tie on and seeing Dick change his, reminded him to put his on….

Very frustrating. Yesterday was a total waste of time, and now we’re back to where we were last week.

1-SAM: It’s 11:30. Stop everything and eat! DT: SLURP, SLURP Way ahead of ya, buddy.

2-SAM: I’m thinking about asking Officer Butch out. That’s her behind us.

DT: Bad idea. Everybody knows you don’t fish in the company pond. Everybody also knows that she likes girl fish.

    SAM: Huh?

3-DT: Instead of just telling you what I mean, I’ll “Charades” it out. It will improve your detective skills. You have one minute. FIRST WORD:

4-CENSORED PANEL: Tracy makes gesture with his tongue and a backwards peace sign up against his chin

SAM: OK, obviously licking an ice cream cone…

    DT: 30 SECONDS… idiot.

Anyone else confused as to what’s going on here? I think this story meandered a bit too far.

Tracy finishes off his big cold drink, Sam finishes his box lunch (panel 1). They pass Ezri Dax in the hallway and just then Tracy gets a Wrist Radio message from Junior (panel 2). Junior has received footage from Ted Tellum with raccoon and murder sequences that Tracy and Sam (panel 3) are about to view.

The puzzle pieces are in place, and this jigsaw is going to come together. There is enough evidence now on hand for Tracy to figure out what’s going on and start gathering whatever more he needs before he starts arresting people (or shooting them if necessary)….

The Ted Tellum Sunday was abrupt, but it provides needed information tor the MCU’s case….
