Steve Kelley never fails to disappoint — once again he comes through with his ever-so-predictable reversal of reality.
The MyPillow guy uses his pillow-gained wealth from selling his cheap but very overpriced junk to try to SMOTHER DEMOCRACY (encouraging a LOSER failed ONE-TERM president to try to OVERTHROW AN ELECTED PRESIDENCY by declaring martial law).
And when it turns out that the American people don’t want to buy from people who want to CANCEL our votes and CANCEL our democracy any more than they want to keep buying his crappy junk, boo hoo, now all of a sudden Mike Lindell is whining and crying about the free market that rejects him.
He doesn’t want anyone ever telling him how to run HIS business, but he wants to dictate to other businesses that are far more successful than he ever was how they should run THEIR businesses.
Just the usual right-wing conservative double-standard hypocrisy. Nothing to see here.
Oh well, I suppose there is a market for his crappy pillows. I hear the cases that come with them are the perfect size for making KKK hoods and can be special ordered with the eye holes already cut. /s
It’s funny how the right was ready to cancel Starbucks over their coffee cups, but they don’t like to receive what they give. Hey, it’s just business. The My Pillow guy is driving away customers (aside from having a bad pillow), so smart businesses are dumping him. That’s capitalism at work, baby. Or don’t you like capitalism?
Free market, Kelley. People have a choice to buy or not, and the retail outlets place orders based on sales. Nothing personal, it’s just business. Cause and effect. Mr. MyPillow has only himself to blame for offending enough potential customers to hurt his business.
By calling the seditious activities of the ‘My Pillow’ dude “dissent” grossly minimizes the nature of that “dissent”. His dissent opposes the Constitution of the United States of America, and its democracy. That’s rather like calling murder an objection to another human being.
I am tired of being “against” things, I prefer positive. I am for the respect and encouragement of all cultures. That’s the America I know. We go forward together.
Right now I see a large number of poorly educated and misguided Americans, led by Donald Trump, trying to push their culture ahead of all others. I do not wish to cancel their culture. But it must be rendered non-toxic.
We go forward together, or we wallow in our magnificent American crapulance.
I find that the cancel culture of the right is invariably more dangerous than that of the left. After all, the left never attacked congress and tried to murder Pence and Pelosi for criticizing DJT.
I hope all this justified outrage at the raid on the capitol doesn’t cloud the need for voting machines with paper trails. and for good election procedure. I would like to see random audits of voting machines. And I would like to see something like a mandatory paid 4 hours off if employees show proof of voting.
This cartoon is so stupid on so many levels, it shouldn’t even deserve a reply. I wonder how it would work if we stopped feeding the stupid cartoons as we strive to do for trolls?
There is no “cancel culture”. That’s just another fear peddling lie told by FOX ‘news’ and conservatives.
There is, however, the correcting of those statues, namesakes and monuments made to enemies of the United States of America. conservatives oppose that correction. Why would they? conservatives are the enemy of the U.S. and have been since 1774.
Is that supposed to be the pillow guy who was right out front yelling about voter fraud and stop the steal and someone (else=terrorists) needs to “save” the country while not joining those whom he incited to “storm” the Capitol?
America is now reaping the result of all the anti-abortion movements. A good number of todays unhappy rebels were raised by parents that did not want them.
There are reliable reports that huge numbers of Republicans have changed their party affliction after Jan 6, going to the trouble of letting the local election officials know about it. Since there have to be quite a few people who had the same reaction, but didn’t bother to make it official in the county records, I would say the Republicans have to cut the MAGAts out of the party if they want to have a party left. Since they can’t attract any voters from the right—they are convinced the Republicans were going to back their insurrection and are pissed that they didn’t, the only hope they have is to develop a Republican party that will attract moderates. I would welcome a conservative party that could actually compete with the liberals without lying. That hasn’t happened in the entire time I have been politically aware, roughly 50 years. I don’t agree with a lot of liberal ideas- abortion tops the list, and would be interested in hearing the views of an HONEST conservative party. I have never had that option and once I understand that I am being lied to, even if the person lying seems to believe what he is saying—- actually even more so if he seems to actually believe it, because that’s nuts, so I have always voted Democratic. An honest option might be nice.
If Skelley had an iota of honesty in his makeup, he would long since have changed his signature cartoon fragment, which shows Hillary with a Pinocchio nose, to something reflecting Trump’s 30,000 lies in his four years as POTUS.
“Cancel Culture”. The right wing talking heads latch onto a catch phrase like a pit pull locks onto a bone which is fitting given their similar intellects and single minded focus. (Which can be excused in the dog)
Don’t want people to boycott your products? Well, it’s pretty simple, don’t display your politics. Went to a winery cellar door once. Wine wasn’t bad, but the proprietor held sway with his right wing political beliefs. Never bought his wine, never went back. Another dude running a furniture store waxed lyrical about his right extremist views…never purchased, never went back. Both businesses no longer exist.
Mr. Kelly. Insurrection is not dissent. You cannot call for the overthrow of the government simply because you lost an election. The “my pillow guy” called for martial law, to do away with constitutional law. The supreme court, decidedly conservative activist, threw out all the challenges to the election. Get over it and move on.

Sometimes the negative word “cult” blots out a noble concept like “culture,” making it a portmanteau of “cult” and “vulture.”
