It’s always such a struggle for him, it gave him a headache just knowing Laura didn’t have to struggle.

It’s stressful when you make a living from it. SCHEDULES! PRESSURE!

It’s fun if you want to do it just to do it. Completion date goals. No pressure.

For a real headache, ask her how long she’s been working on it.

Just for fun, I wrote a screenplay; and like Laura says, it was fun, once I got the opening. But that took several years.

Everyone has a novel inside him or herself, and it comes out with ease. (It may be rubbish, but that first one bubbles out with ease.) It is the second one that is a pain in the rear.

The thing some writers have (J. K. Rowling leaps to mind) is the seeming ability to create Perfect names for people, places and things with no effort. It’s the one thing that really stops me from writing… well, that and general lack of ambition.

Unfair comparison Adam. Hers was a labor of fun and excitement. You have timelines, making bosses and publishers happy and is the income that pay the bills. However, taking a quick nap might not be a bad idea…..

Calm down Adam. Read it first. You may discover that it is a BAD novel, and then you can be happy again.

Writing a novel should be fun. And work. And discipline.

McMeel’s site is already breaking down. I no longer have access to ‘Clay Jones’ after I decided not to concur with all the really angry people. Now I have a headache! I did hear there would be a problem with communications, so censoring has already begun, at least on a very tiny scale. What Air Force’s song? ‘Up away, into the wild blue yonder’….. Isn’t Wild Blue in the dog food section? ON Adam-12 there was a episode where Reed suggested an apple cider vinegar compress using specifically a brown paper bag. I suppose that woud work better than putting one of those Steve Martin ‘fake arrows’ on my head. LOL‘Fret not’ sometimes works.
