Left up to Mitch, they’d be headed for Richie Richland. And this is not a current ‘toon, because the GOP has once again tried to harm the incoming administration and the Dems have, once again refused to allow it, so it’s obviously all their fault, to hear the GOP spew it.
Bad job of #bothsides Ariail, the House sent a bill to the Senate back in May, MoscowMitch has refused to let it come to the floor for a vote. This is completely on the GOP. Blaming “Congress” is a lie.
FALSE EQUIVALENCY! All blame rests exclusively with the GOP. The Dems sent a relief bill to the Senate SIX MONTHS AGO and #MoscowMitrchMcTraitor has been BLOCKING IT ever since.
Y’see, the turtle in charge of the elephant driving the rescue truck let the air out of the tires, emptied the gas tank, removed the battery, threw they keys into a storm drain and refused to let anyone try to fix it.
And up here in Canada, the piggy bank was raided early on. There’s been some significant abuse, but after the dust settles the s—t will hit the fan where needed. But we have a legislative system that wouldn’t let the like of Mitch-the-Bitch operate.
p/s congrats on Joe having an indigenous Interior Secretary
Republican’s have a reason why they think that giving money to people who are already rich will solve everyone’s problems. It is called “trickle down” and they have been religiously following it for decades. Actually, I doubt that they believe it, but they need to have some excuse. Trickle down has never worked, as far as raising the standard of living, anywhere that it has been tried. And, it is completely illogical to believe that it ever could. If you are paying a guy to cut your lawn and he’s doing an adequate job, then you get a tax cut, do you raise his pay? Neither will the 1%ers. The only reason to spend more on hired help is that you need more workers to get the job done. The only way more workers will be needed is if there is an increased demand for product- in other words people are buying more stuff. The only reason people would be buying more stuff is that they can afford it. And, the only reason that they could afford more is that they are the ones getting the tax cuts, not the rich guys. Trickle down just gives the rich guys more money to hide offshore , or more money to buy more politicians to write laws so they have more money to hide offshore. If you want that money to stay in America, increase production, and raise everyone’s standard of living, trickle UP will do the job, not trickle down.

Well Pelosi wanted to drive top speed. McConnell was worried that if they got there too soon, you might depend on them too much, so he stopped for all the lights

“What took you so long?” Simple. The Republicans are looking to punish America for not re-electing Trump.

Moscow Mitch and the other Trump Disciples are suddenly and seriously worried about something they have just now discovered: there’s a deficit.
