I recall one scene the movie Mouse Hunt where the brothers fight over who gets the only bed. They both sleep in it when the coin lands on edge.

And Jack grabs it in mid-air to help pay Andy’s bar tab.

Reminds me of an old episode of ‘Twilight Zone’ where a man flips a coin, it lands on edge, and he is able to read people minds throughout the day until the coin is knocked over.

I remember that they got a page out of this joke in the comic book “Asterix and the Soothsayer”. The coin landed on its edge in several places before ending up stuck.

About the only thing I remember from the TV show Hazel was the father wondering how she got a flipped coin to land on its edge.

Chalkie looks like he’s three sheets to the wind.

Little wonder some people call our Andy a tosser!

The way the day is shaping up, I’d say the coin has a better chance of standing straight up, than either Andy or Chalkie.

I actually saw (as did thousands of other tv viewers) a coin flip at an NFL football game land on it’s edge.

We’ll keep goin’ as long as your money holds out.

There was an on-edge coin flip in one of the Discworld novels if I remember correctly…

If the coin made any attempt to land on it’s, I’m sure there’d be an intervention.
