You should cry. That’s a big chunk of time you’re never going to get back.

Any of you ever cried (while laughing) during some (comedic) Christmas movie? National Lampoon’s Chrismtas Vacation, Home Alone, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, A Christmas Story, the Santa Clause trilogy, or Ernest [P. Worrell] Saves Christmas for example?

I cried when I watched the He-Man & She-Ra Christmas Special, but not because I was moved emotionally.

(Got thru “Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever” without a single tear.)

isn’t “A very Brady Christmas” the one where Mike has to go into a collapsing building to rescue trapped workers from some project he was fired from and is trapped until the sound of Carol singing helps him find his way out? I cry at the segment every time I see it.

Remember the 1970’s-early 1990’s years when every TV station ran “It’s a Wonderful Life” during the Christmas holiday season?

I used to give my mom all sorts of guff over crying at stuff. Now I’m the same. I think it must be age and perspective.

If you cry at things that are incredibly stupid, you’ll be bawling your eyes out at “A Very Brady Christmas”.

I’ve never understood the appeal of crying. It always leaves me feeling wrung out & yucky.

I just saw Klaus and cried a little at the end, I always do during the dancing scene and the credits(!) in Wall-E as well as several places in movies like Holiday Inn (Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire) …
