Republican hypocrisy on an epic scale has politicized the Supreme Court.

    Republicans have packed the Court.

It is now time that we must make the case for adding four justices to the Supreme Court. From 1789 to 1869 — 80 years — the number of judges changed six times. In the years from 1869 to present — 151 years — the number has not changed at all, even though the U.S. population has more than octupled from 38,500,000 in the 1870 census, to 330,000,000 today, over that same 151-year period.

    Original: 1789 — SIX

    1801 — 5

    1807 — 7

    1837 — 9

    1863 — 10

1866 — 7 (to block Andrew Johnson from appointments)

    1869 — 9

I’m fairly neutral on Roe vs. Wade or the ACA, but am utterly disgusted at how those “Christians” in the Senate are willing to use blatant hypocrisy, barefaced lies, and a “ethics are whatever’s convenient for us” to force the entire nation to follow their desires.

If you ask me, the Republican party’s decided to have no king but Caesar.

Whatever happens, here on in, as regards the court/country will be on Mitch’s hands. .. He can see the most likely outcome of this election, but has determined in his diabolical mind that the people will not have the final say on everything.

That majority will last much longer than ‘a generation’, as they are saying. This Court will make it impossible for Progressives or Liberals to even hold office, by allowing gerrymandering, and voter suppression.

The Rethuglicons screwed the presidency and the nation when they had a majority in both houses of Congress from 2010 through 2018 and did their thing once again with the confirmation of Ms. Barrett. But now that it’s very possible the Dems will capture the presidency and the Senate, all of a sudden they concerned about ramifications and a whine fest has begun?

With Democratic control of the Senate looming, they should use the opportunity to do several things to combat the Koch’s and other right-wing extremist’s efforts to undo our Democracy: Make Puerto Rico and DC states, split the 9th US Circuit, then add 5 seats to the SCOTUS to come even with the number of US Circuit Courts and finally undo the electoral college. If the Senate Democrats need any further proof than the last several years of the Republicans’ perfidy, I cannot for the life of me see what else it would take?

The Repulsican Crime Cult is a great defender of the integrity of THE SUPREME KANGAROO COURT as long as they have forced through a majority of CONservatives to seats on The Court no matter how many rules of law are shattered. And they have the hypocrisy to accuse the Democrats of wanting to stack the court? Even more discouraging is what they consider to be the most urgent of the people’s business. They spent many hours and days ramming through their choice of a new Repulsican inexperienced justice to THE SUPREME KANGAROO COURT to rubberstamp THE CULT’S nefareous activities, BUT COULD NOT find time before the elections to pass legislation in aid of the desperate citizens suffering from the effects of the pandemic.
