What happened to the 90 days before the election? Thank FSM it’s almost over.

The season gets longer every year. Already, many stores have Christmas decorations for sale. At this rate, in a few years, we’ll be celebrating Christmas on Thank Giving.

l gave up on Christmas years ago.

I have to admit, this is the first pre-Christmas item I’ve seen. I haven’t been getting out as much as I used to, but I haven’t been quarantined either.

It’s very simple; Ignore it until after Thanksgiving.

Now that kid is a DREAMER . . . . thinking she’ll get something this year and it won’t be Covid-19.

Then there’s the First Lady that doesn’t give a F- about Christmas.

It’s funny, the Holier than Thou bunch never object to commercialization of their favorite excuse for singing and praying.

Labor Day was two months ago. Of course it’s the Christmas Season.

We’re getting the feeling that our family will be celebrating both Thanksgiving and Christmas separately this year. First time in several decades. Gonna be hard to take.

When I was a kid, the “Wish Book” Christmas catalogs from Sears Roebuck and Montgomery Ward served us as “The Months Before Christmas” books. (Did they start showing up in September?) How wonderful to discover that many are now available online to facilitate our nostalgic daydreaming:

Thanks to some crushing dental and veterinarian expenses, there won’t be much for Christmas this year – but I am looking forward to it more than I have for a long time. Few times in my life have the messages of the season been more in need of amplification.

All I want for Christmas is to live long enough to see it. Even that simple desire is becoming more doubtful day by day.
