I happened to catch a few minutes of an interview on the radio from the BBC. It was with an immunologist who said “herd immunity” has never — in the history of mankind — been reached without a vaccine. There are levels of equilibrium, but no immunity or real safety. Of course, he wasn’t talking about immunity from common sense.

There’s one main reason why Trump & his sociopathic ilk spew happily about herd immunity: It requires them to do nothing but stand back smiling as millions die. And Trump is/has been/and always will be the laziest son of a bitch on the planet. “Do nothing, watch TV” is his go-to.

2 to 6 million more Americans will die if Trump is reelected and the discredited murderous Fox ‘news’ herd immunity stupidity is forced on the USA.

I do hope when the Republicans try to rebuild a “new” party, they choose a different mascot. Elephants are matriarchal, smart, take care of each other, They love, have compassion, experience grief and trauma. So unlike many of the current Republicans.

Funny (read with full sarcasm) how both cartoonists and politicians are backing (running) away from Trump and claiming to have never supported him…

No surprise here. The one issue where Ramirez has consistently slammed Trump is on COVID response. He’s been doing it for months.

However, if he ever runs a cartoon that’s explicitly pro-Biden (on COVID or anything else), it’ll be a first.

Americans reached “that” herd immunity long before trump.. but trump is taking it to a level never thought possible.

So, my favorite cartoonist has drunk deeply from the well of fear and desperation which drives the excessive and extreme reactions to coronavirus. The dogma lives loudly in this one.
