Though it’s true that Google will be very happy  to send you to a biased site because for them the click is the thing (well, and correlations between your online “fingerprint” and sites that you’re likely to click to)… because not only is time equal to money but so are clicks.

Eric Trump googled “mob images” because he wanted to show pictures of riots he could attribute to democrats but got images from the anime “Mob Psycho 100” and claimed that there was a conspiracy afloat.

Only someone as clueless as Eric Trump wouldn’t understand that Google has an algorithm for displaying images that depends on the context of the searches being conducted.

In politics when you aren’t getting gushing praise and the other side is, you make an accusation of bias. Is a lack of enthusiasm bias? Is not getting the friendly treatment you want being biased against? As a gay man I have had people yell (and throw) things at me…that certainly is bias in action. I have also had people ignore and/or avoid me for being gay while welcoming straight people. I think that is being biased too. But do I have a right to complain about being ignored or avoided similar to the right I have to object to direct actions taken against me? I think I do. Since it impacts my life in a negative way and limits me in comparison to other people. But conservatives take the position that I don’t have a right to object or complain for that treatment. They say it is their right to act that way and exclude me. It certainly seems hypocritical for them to make claims of being treated unfairly since they passionately defend their right to essentially do the same thing to people themselves…for personal, political and religious reasons.
