So how much deliberations did Trump do before deciding to defund social security and medicare? Do you remember any lengthy discussions on eliminating the programs that are immensely popular among the majority of Americans? Remember when George W. Bush in February 2005 suggested that social security be privatized? It was not well received and was tabled in Congress. This was a time when checks and balances actually worked.

Thanks Bok for pointing out the flaw in the current administration where the voices in the head of one individual outweigh everything else.
