The entire point, so far as I can see, is to enhance his chances to be (re)elected. And at least from my POV, the effect is the opposite. Not that I’d vote for him unless someone held a gun to my head. And even then, I’d try to invalidate the ballot somehow.

Trump says that he has been given great powers under Article 2 of the Constitution and that people should read it. He apparently tried to read it on camera but kept stumbling over the words. He said that it was like a foreign language.

That’s one theater they should have closed and burnt to the ground a long time ago.

George Bush Executive orders: 291 in 8 years, average 36.375 per year.

Barack Obama Executive orders: 276 in 8 years, average 34.5 per year.

Dumb ass trump Executive orders: 182 in 3.5 years, average 52 per year.

Numbers, unlike trump, don’t lie.

I just Googled the number of executive orders signed by various presidents. Obama signed 276, while Trump has, so far, signed 180. However, Clinton has both of them beat with 364 of them.
