Actually, glass blowing that way is a very dangerous job. Inhale just a little bit and your lungs are burnt history. Many people have died in that industry. (The melting point of glass is fantastically high.)
If travel ever gets back to at least semi-normal, and anyone has an itch to go to Venice, take a side trip to the island of Murano. They make some of the most beautiful crystal, and, to my knowledge, still in the old tradition of blowing the glass.
