The US has, of course, been doing a lot of bad stuff for a long time. Not alone in that. And that absolutely must change. But this administration is next level. It’s so dismissive of Science, so void of any semblance of caring about others that they threaten to drive the entire country into the “failed state” category.
So, how long before Hair Furor starts to rant and rave about “Illegal Border Closings” by the EU countries not allowing Americans to visit, while TOTALLY ignoring HIS OWN visa restrictions?? And yes, he IS delusional enough to think that EVERYONE IN THE WORLD is ganging up on HIM PERSONALLY, just to make HIM look bad…
Kind of the same time you started wearing that MAGA hat. This is taking me back a few years when American tourists wore a Canadian flag to be greeted with something other than spit.
Historical note: in the 60s we were considered the Ugly Americans in Europe ….they hated to see us show up…. but they loved our money… so they put up with us….Now they don’t even want our money because it’s contaminated with the virus.
Yep, we have definitely become a third-world sh!tholecountry.
It’s been a slow steady drip for the last 52 years with attempts to patch and drain and cleanup at various levels during 1977 – 1981, 1993 – 2001, 2009 – 2017.
Oh the irony. America gone from trying to ban people from select countries from coming to America as result of bigoted stereotypes to Americans being banned from traveling to those countries cause we pose a health risk to them.
Because there’s a shithead at the helm of the Executive Branch, and a spineless pile of poop running the Senate, and a jurist who isn’t worth crap steering the Supreme Court.
Remember “Ugly American”? The difference is that then we were the leaders of world, had plenty of money and contracts etc to offer. Now, we really are falling out of the top tier most of the ways to measure “top” ness from health care to annual per capita productivity. And of course we’re behaving badly still/too. If I were them, I wouldn’t let us in either.

Only problem: MAGAts tend to not travel out of the country. Travel tends to open one’s mind to other society and ideas.

At least the rest of the world knows enough to keep Americans at least six feet apart. And oh yeah, wear masks.

How? By allowing sub-partisan snit fits in both major parties to get a perfect storm of psychopaths elected to federal positions, that’s how.
