The entire History of homo sap. is compelling evidence that, whether there is or is not a “deity”, he/she/it/they have not the slightest interest in any aspect of our existence – much less any “ethics”. And why should he/she/it/they ? This planet is a speck of dust, and we are one of thousands of forms of “life”- whatever that is. We are the only one which imagines that “right” exists – much less that “Here, right matters”. I wish it did. I wish Col. Vindman were honored as he deserves..
The point is simple: if we have anywhere to turn, it is to each other. As often as not, we turn ON each other. And the Orange Abomination exacerbates the turning to a churning..and the cities are burning. The “Book” is irrelevant – it barely mentions other species except as “sacrifices” – yet we will be succeeded by other species, as we have ourselves succeeded other species. So just vote blue, and try to be decent.
