(Side reference to Chip Monck’s warning about the brown acid: “To get back to the warning that I’ve received, you might take it with however many grains of salt you wish, that the brown acid that is circulating around us is not specifically too good. It’s suggested that you do stay away from that. Of course, it’s your own trip, so be my guest. But be advised that there is a warning on that, okay?”)
A question I’d like to share with you: This strip is dated 1994. By then, people were clearly using the verb “to share” as a pretentious synonym for “to say”. However I don’t recollect it being around in the late 1960s.
By the time Hendrix came on, the concert was almost over, he was the last act. It was Monday morning and the torrential downpour of the day before had driven most of the crowd away. Zonker and Mark should be soaking wet and covered with mud (not that they’d probably care).

Will my Woodstock hero, Wavy Gravy, be making a cameo appearance in this story arc? What I have in mind is breakfast in bed for four hundred thousand.

All the fascination with drugs and the positive portrayal of such is Disgusting.

Let us be lovers, we’ll marry our fortunes together
I’ve got some real estate here in my bag
So we bought a pack of cigarettes and Mrs. Wagner’s pies
And we walked off to look for America
Cathy, I said as we boarded a Greyhound in Pittsburgh
Michigan seems like a dream to me now
It took me four days to hitchhike from Saginaw
I’ve gone to look for America-performed by Bert Sommer at Woodstock, written by paul simon.

Hendrix’s contract said he was the last act to perform at Woodstock. That’s why he is performing at Monday sunrise.

If someone fries their brain on dope because of a COMIC STRIP, don’t come to me looking for sympathy.
