I agree with him about our Clown in Chief. Although (according to an old joke) sharks might think Trump tastes funny.

And now the news: the great clown Pannichi was involved in a minor accident today. But doctors say his condition is…not serious.

Here I am, pushing 60, and clowns still creep me out.

As a kid, i could take or leave clowns. They entertained but didn’t impress me. Later they acquired this menacing persona that i still don’t understand, but I don’t watch them anymore. I don’t think I’m missing much. Ya’ll enjoy.

Knowing they’re all crying on the inside, just like Pagliacci did, leaves me even more depressed.

Robert Ripley stated that the old anecdote was true and had originally happened with the famous clown Joe Grimaldi.

But Ripley was often full of it, alas.

Comedies are funny;
