Seems kind of stupid to try and kill off all your followers. How does he think he will get voted back in for a second term? Hopefully not.

That the “Republicans” will risk their lives for pseudo-science and ignore real science shows how strong the right-wing propaganda/disinformation has become … essentially making the “United States” a misnomer.

My fellow Conservatives, The evil Libruls are jealous of our supremely magnificent president and are trying to derail his plans to cure America. Tune them off and concentrate on the stable genius’ words. When has he let us down ? Drink a glass of Clorox and inject some Lysol directly into the veins. I guarantee that you will not need any medication ever again. America will be Great Again.

Trump reminds of an employee I fired. The employee was a poor liar, because you could find out the truth almost immediately, but then they’d double down, and then triple down on the lie. When ultimately backed into a corner, rather than admit the lie they’d say they were only kidding or making a joke.

The manufactures have warned us not to drink this product.. but they have not mentioned using it in an enema. I have given up trying to guess what trump means when he says stuff.. but maybe, knowing it’s a family audience he did not want to be too specific.

Note for political cartoonists: Russian propagandist and hacker mills are going after political cartoonists now by blocking sites and denial of service attacks.

Cloudflare has announced that it is working to prevent these problems. It might be a good thing for GoComics to look into.

We are not employed by Cloudflare and have no economic interest in them. This is just a news piece we ran into today that might help GoComics, its political cartoonists, and those of us who appreciate their work.

Since my mailed GoComics collection arrived without any picture content today, forcing me to use the website I found the notice an interesting coincidence, since those attacks could have exactly this result.

H.L. Mencken called them the American Booboisie. They’re still among us, proudly wearing MAGA hats and apparently following el Presidente’s brainstorming about disinfectants and UV to the degree that public health officials and manufacturers nationwide are scrambling to try to keep his followers from actually trying out his inspired suggestions.

This is eerie reminds me of Jonestown. Another cult. Which makes sense to me. Because I cannot explain away some of the people I know loving Trump as they are generally intelligent people. And in the past, we could discuss issues rationally.

Now if Nick would only draw a patient in a hospital bed under a U.V. lamp with a drip feed going into his arm from a clorox bottle we’d have the perfect summation of Trump’s idiocy on this issue.

It is quite likely that China covered up the danger when there was an outbreak there. So, did Trump when it hit our country. At least, they didn’t call it a hoax.

The United States used to have a team of doctors, scientists, etc. standing by listening to the news for any hint of a possible outbreak. The Obama administration set it up after an Ebola scare in Africa. They were dispatched to hot spots several times and prevented diseases from ever reaching the US, by isolating and treating them at their source. That team was disbanded by Trump in his first budget about a year after he took office.

The U.S. government’s slow and inadequate response to the new coronavirus underscores the need for organized, accountable leadership to prepare for and respond to pandemic threats. In a health security crisis, speed is essential. When this new coronavirus emerged, there was no clear White House-led structure to oversee our response, and we lost valuable time. Yes, we have capable and committed global and national disease-prevention and management organizations, as well as state and local health departments, all working overtime now. But even in prepared cities like Seattle, health systems are struggling to test patients and keep pace with growing caseloads. The specter of rapid community transmission and exponential growth is real and daunting. It’s impossible to assess the full impact of the 2018 decision to disband the White House office responsible for this work. Biological experts do remain in the White House and in our government. But it is clear that eliminating the office has contributed to the federal government’s sluggish domestic response.
