I would take Peter to see a doctor. It seems he either has a tapeworm or an alien growing inside of him.

Send Peter to the store to buy groceries. My mom began sending me to the corner store when I was 7-8 yrs. old .. to buy cigarettes even! (she gave me a note, which made it cool with the store owner).

Sugar Crack is a great name for a cereal!

Hey, do they still make Alpha Bits? I can’t find them anywhere.

Same old “Peter” arc, how about a little more originality especially for a once a week strip.

I had two teenage sons- the cheapest way to feed them was to take them to a buffet. They could put down four good sized plates of food easily, and have room for desert.

Interesting coincidence – this is the same recurring gag as yesterday’s Saturday rerun strip.

Peter eats a lot and he’s still super skinny.

Somehow hungry teenage boy jokes will NEVER grow old. That said, Amend has had the running gag of Peter’s appetite going back his whole life.

Switch to oatmeal.

Few things are more frightening than a teen boy in front of the fridge. One of those few things is a guy who hasn’t figured out he’s not a teen boy anymore and who looks like Jabba the Hutt.

Where did they buy that bowl?

Luckily, we’ve stockpiled the toilet paper.

I think he needs to go to the doctor about his condition. It’s been established that he has such a high metabolism he can lose 2 pounds in a day if he doesn’t drink a special weight gaining smoothy, and he once spent over 12 hours eating pizza, which caused him to double his body weight, only to burn all of it away in less than 2 days. He might actually starve to death if he were to miss only 1 or 2 meals. He might have a brain tumor causing a growth hormone imbalance or something.

He is cutting back on the total number of bowls of cereal.

Looks like the amount of cereal my MOM eats, no lie.

Peter’s not in school, so he could go with her to help carry the load back. Though of course she’d have to muzzle him… which is another advantage of a facemask, eh?

About time for a haircut?

I’m guessing that Peter is her eldest son. Otherwise Mom would know how teenage boy tend to eat and eat and eat…
